About the University of Toronto Athletic Centre

One of the most beautiful athletic facilities in the city, the U of T Athletic Centre sports a 50-metre, olympic size pool.  The pool has one of the most advanced filtration systems in North America, which gives the water a clearer appearance.

We will use both the north and south ends of the pool for the tournament.    The competition pools will be 25 metres before goal set-up .

The Athletic Centre is located at 55 Harbord St. (corner of Spadina & Harbord.)

 By transit, take the Bloor subway to Spadina, then walk or take the Spadina streetcar two short blocks south to Harbord;  OR take the College streetcar to Spadina (big 7-11 on the corner) and either transfer to Spadina streetcar or just walk the two short blocks north to the pool (best bet from the host hotel).  

If you take a taxi, just tell the driver "U of T Athletic Centre".

Enter through the Harbord St. doors beside Starbucks. Go through the doors to the pool gallery on the immediate right hand side, and follow the gallery around to the Spadina Changerooms on the other (west) side of the pool. There are signs to guide you. Make sure you go downstairs one level, not into the public washrooms on the gallery level.
