University of Toronto Athletic Centre:

The UofT Athletic Centre is located at 55 Harbord St. (corner of Spadina & Harbord.) By TTC, take the subway to Spadina, and walk or take the Spadina streetcar south to Harbord; OR take the 94 Wellesley Bus from Ossington or Wellesley subway stations to Spadina & Harbord.

Enter through the Harbord St. doors beside Starbucks. Go through the doors to the pool gallery on the right hand side, and follow the gallery around to the Spadina Changerooms on the other side of the pool. There are signs to guide you. Make sure you go downstairs, not into the washrooms on the gallery level.

Note: For practices after building hours (usually Sunday), the Harbord St. doors may be locked. If this is the case, enter via the last door on the Spadina side (unlocked 15 minutes before practice.)

For the Benson Pool, go in to the same changerooms, and exit to the deck of the 50m pool. Walk around to the other side of the pool, where there is a hallway leading to Benson. Signs will assist, or ask a lifeguard to point you in the right direction. Note that it can be a bit drafty walking through that hall back to the changerooms after swim, so ensure you have your towel handy.

Sunnyside (Outdoor) Pool

During the summer months we move some of our practices to Sunnyside Outdoor Pool in the city’s west end.

This pool is located on the South side of Lakeshore Boulevard, at the foot of Parkside Drive.

If you are taking the TTC from downtown you have two options:
1)  Take the Bloor subway west to Keele Station.  Then transfer to the Queensway #80 bus going south on Parkside to Lakeshore Blvd.  The pool is within walking distance, just west of Parkside.
2)  Take the Queen Streetcar (#501) west to Parkside.
 
If you are driving from downtown, take the Lakeshore and head west past Parkside Drive.  You will see the pool to the south – go past the pool – and look for the “U Turn” area, and turn back on Lakeshore Blvd, now heading east.  The parking lot is located east of the pool.

Jimmie Simpson Pool:

Occasionally we have practices at Jimmie Simpson Recreation Centre, when UofT is unavailable.  Jimmie Simpson is located at 870 Queen St. East (between Broadview & Logan). By TTC, take the 501 Queen streetcar to Empire (heading east, Emprie is one stop after the railroad overpass, just after Broadview; heading west, Empire is one stop west of Logan.)
