We play hard and have fun in the water - and we play hard and have fun OUT of the water too! There is always something fun on the Triggerfish social calendar...
 


It's about developing friendships...

... and the Triggerfish are known for being a friendly bunch.  Across ages, genders, and professions, a diverse group of players who have connected in the pool also connect out of the pool! 

We have both formal and informal events: 

- Parties and socials, such as our summer bbq or our Christmas bash; 
- Team trips to play in both gay and straight tournaments in Montreal, Kingston, Chicago, Atlanta, Paris, and more; 
- Local adventures such as laser tag, skiing, and rafting; and
- Nights out in the village such as our regular appearances at Grapefruit.
 


Our Volunteer Spirit!

One of the most incredible things about the spirit of our team is the volunteerism that helps to make it such a great environment.  No matter what needs to be done, there are always people raising their hand to pitch in.  This has resulted in some great fundraising initiatives, such as our tending of the beer garden on Pride Day;  accolades for our well-run Polopalooza tournament in the spring of each year;  and the mother of all projects, our $50,000 Trillium Grant from the Trillium Foundation. 

We believe that it is this kind of dedication to the good of all team members that helps to foster the synergy and team vibe that results in us saying:  Once a Triggerfish, always a Triggerfish!
