About Our Team

Our team has developed an excellent reputation for being very warm, friendly, and engaging - and we are darn proud of that reputation! The team goes out of its way to welcome new players, helping to make sure you get your feet wet in as gentle a way as possible. Players of all abilities are valued in our practices and scrimmages - you'll feel right at home.
Recreational or Competitive?
Our team has found an effective way of accommodating for both recreational and competitive players. Just want to splash around, have some fun, meet people, and learn a new game? You will find lots of recreational players with the same desire. Want to sprint hard, learn the technique, and advance your game - perhaps compete in a tournament or two? Our competitive stream will push you to the max.
There are separate recreational and competitive practices - Wednesday and Friday nights respectively. Members are able to attend either, just knowing that the focus is on one or the other. Sunday is one big happy family - during the first part of the practice, recreational and competitive members are at opposite ends of the big pool, and then we combine for some fun scrimmages and learn all together.
What about out of the pool?
Our team is also very active from a volunteer standpoint. We are blessed to have such an active group of men and women - no matter what the task, there is always someone who raises their hand and gets involved. This is part of what led us to secure a $50,000 grant from the Trillium Foundation, to help us continue to build our fun and successful team.
Is team spirit, camaraderie, and acceptance as important to you as getting a good workout, playing hard, and having fun in the pool? If so - you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer bunch of people than the Triggerfish! Check out the content under How to Join Us. In this section of the website, you'll find out how to jump in to the water with us, and get started!
